Treasurer
Bill’s first career was in the US Army where he spent 22 years doing operations research and cost estimating. He served in both Vietnam and Saudi Arabia.
His second career was teaching for 18 years in the College of Engineering at OSU until he retired in 2001. His teaching career was primarily in the area of Engineering Economy, which initiates future engineers to the concept of life cycle costing and the time value of money.
Bill was elected to his first term on the Board in 2004; currently he serves as Board Treasurer and Chair of the Financial Committee.
Bill states he wants to:
“Work to preserve open space for future generations in the Willamette Valley.”
