Jane Barth, Vice President
Community Development Specialist
Jane Brass Barth is the current (2007) Vice President of the GLT.
She also served as Treasurer for 3 years.
Jane became involved in the work of the GLT because of her desire to retain accessible local open space for her family and others to enjoy into the future.
Jane works in the area of Community Development as a leadership trainer, facilitator and mediator. Most of her work is done with Rural Development Initiatives, Inc., a statewide non-profit whose mission is to be a catalyst for community vitality in rural areas. She is a lead trainer for the Ford Institute Leadership Program funded by the Ford Family Foundation.
Another focus of interest is public participation in ocean resource management and she recently facilitated work of the Governor's Ocean Policy Advisory Council. She has served on the Corvallis Planning Commission and currently is involved with a group working to start a Corvallis City Club.
