This year saw important growth in both the scope and focus of our land conservation work in the Mid- Willamette Valley. We acquired easements on two important properties in Benton County, Lupine Meadows and Thomas Paine Farms, protecting over 200 acres of rare habitats and species. We are increasing our land protection efforts to protect and restore some of the most endangered habitats in the valley including upland prairies, wet prairies and oak savannahs and woodlands.
