The mission of the Greenbelt Land Trust (GLT) is to secure open space that preserves the natural beauty and provides a connection to the natural world for the residents of Corvallis, Philomath and the Mid-Willamette Valley.
The GLT raises funds for the purchase of open space lands, secures and manages conservation easements, advocates for conservation of open space and natural areas, mobilizes community support for open space and natural area protection, and participates in the planning, construction and maintenance of trails and open spaces. In all of these areas, the GLT works in partnership with landowners, other non-profit organizations, local governments, the public, and other entities interested in conserving open space.
Over the next decade we will use our experience and success to protect a variety of important open space lands that conserve and restore the natural heritage of the Willamette Valley. Many of these lands will be available for all members of our communities to experience our connection to this rich heritage.
